What is Mealie?

Mealie is a free, open-source, self-hosted recipe manager. It runs on your own hardware — a Raspberry Pi, a NAS, or a cloud VPS — and gives you full control over your recipe collection without relying on third-party services.

While Mealie provides an excellent web interface, it doesn't offer a dedicated mobile app. That's where MealieCompanion comes in: a native iOS experience built specifically for the kitchen. Faster navigation, an offline-friendly cache, a hands-free cooking mode, and deep integration with Mealie's meal planner and shopping lists — all designed for your iPhone.

View and manage all your shopping lists, check off items as you shop, and add new items on the go. Items are grouped by label for quick navigation in the store.
